I am also doing the USDA direct loan (in Ohio)...I just started at the beginning of August in this process. I have recieved my letter that my application has been selected for processing and that they needed additional info. I sent in my additional info that they needed to make a final determination. It's been alittle over two weeks. I had called them today and left a message just to see where I am at in the loan process. I had gotten a call back at the end of the day. The person that called me said that my application was sent to the underwritter and she still has not recieved it back. Does anyone know how long it takes to get an approval and what happens next?
