We closed on our house June 17th and mailed the 2008 amendment forms certified mail the next day. We just received our $8,000 tax credit plus $60.72 in interest today, August 18th.

Took exactly 2 months, not bad compared to some others on this post. Maybe there's hope for others that they're getting them done quicker now.
