I paid off a $135 collection back in '10, but it still shows as a "KD" in red on my report.  I received a letter from them saying it was paid in full, but it still shows up as a "ding" on my report.  I called to get it removed, but they won't....what to do?

You will all have to use the HIPAA process, dispute first, etc.,..

I disputed several from 2008-2009 and didn't have to even go past the dispute process, they removed them, no problem and I didn't even hAve to pay anything.. 

Can you inbox me the info as well? I have several form 2008 that I would love to get taken care of! Thanks!!

From personal experience, I've had success getting UNPAID medical collections from 2008 and 2009 deleted off ALL 3 CRAs by sending the pre-HIPAA letters. Check your inbox!
