What is considered a Reasonable Settlement w CA

I have a collection notice and it's 286.00 but truth of the matter is they include their fees plus fees from OC that I do not think I owe bc I did not my cell phone for 2 months prior to changing plans when they shut it off. What is the usual neg price I already have the PFD but need the price before I CMRR

It depends.  What is the DOFD of the account?  What is the SOL of your state.  These are some things to consider when offering a settlement.
