My secured Orchard Banc cc has never been increased(2 years) now owned by Cap 1.

My unsecured Cap 1 was increased from 300 to 500 after 5 ontime monthly payments automatically.

Use them for what they are, a stepping stone to get better cards.

Hahaha!  Trust me, I'd be banned if I did! 

I  am soo happy and estatic that orchard was bought out by capital one. Capital one gives credit increases every five statements, I just received one on both of my cards. Since orchard gives it out sparingly, all current orchard cardholder do not close it. It will get better on the capital one side, promise. I asked customer service when will the merger be totally done, adnd they said they didn't know. (Yeah right). On my credit report, the orchard card is already showing as a capital one credit one account.
