I'm usually only a reader/Troll on these boards, but I've actually joined now. I want to share some of my success in having medical collections removed from my CRs.

I Called and paid the collection and asked it they would do a pfd if I paid he entire balance. They agreed, but instead of waiting for them to update, I initiated disputes online and many were off a few days later. One CA told me they could not do a pfd and I still paid it off,disputed and it was removed. I explained to them, that despite my Internet education I'm going to take them at their word for the pfd and that since I was paying them regardless there was no need to lie about whether or not they could make that happen.
