Just read your first post, and rockstrscott's advice.  Looks like he gave you some great advice.  This thread is called Rebuilding Your Credit.  That means out with the bad, in with the good.   Nice work in getting the secured card, and no, it wouldn't hurt to get another.  Like scott said, you should send out a DV to find out exactly what the debt is for, and make sure it's not a duplicate.  Post on here and we will be glad to follow along and work with you.  Good Luck.
