11 point increase , why ?

i checked my credit karma score today an it showed a 11 point increase. is that because of having a medical collection deleted from my credit report? Or is it because i received a 200$ cli on one of my cards?

Log into Credit Karma and go to your Score center. Look at credit cards. If it was becuase of the increase it will show.

other loans may show a decrease as well for a delete. I had 100.00 medical bill deleted and it increase vantage score but not transunion.

 

Also look at Credit Report Card, Click on Derogatory Remarks and see if the Numbers changed from you had before in collections.

I guess I was expecting a bigger increase since I had a collection deleted. At least it's in the right direction :smileyhappy:

I just checked credit karma. Under the derogatory remarks it shows 3. But on the monthly  tracker it still shows 4.

Thats becuase for the month of January you started out with 4, next month will show three.

 

I didnt get an increase on transunion but vantage went way up,  but I am happy with knowing one more is off my report so the numbers will all go up eventually :-)
