Reporting Time Frame

Just how long do student loans report? I have consolidated all of my loans from Sallie Mae and a Perkins Loan from my college. The Perkins Loan is scheduled to report until 2015, however the paid off Sallie Mae loans don't show an expiration date. What's the deal?

If they are closed, they should report just as long as any other closed account:  about 10 years.  Sometimes accounts do drop off early, & sometimes you are lucky enough to have them stay on a little longer.
