I'm curious, I notice both my own thread and another person's thread about (different) questions about the Discover card product got moved from Credit Cards to Smorgasboard. Is there a deeper meaning behind this, does MyFICO not consider Discover a "real" credit card? Or is it because we are talking about the cards themselves, rather than the account behind the cards? (In which case, a clarification on the forum descriptions would be useful).

I can't comment about the exact reason why your thread was moved but it's not because Discover is not considered a 'real' credit card on this site. There are many threads about Discover in the forum(s) and it's considered the same class as any other major credit card
Discover is definitely a real credit card. However, posts about card aesthetics (what image is on your Cap 1 card, do you like metal cards, etc) go into Smorgasboard.
