Experian Report via MyFico vs Experian.com

Why does my Experian report shown on MyFico show 11 late payments AND all 11 of these accounts as charge offs? When I pull my report directly from Experian to dispute, they show correctly (included in BK7/never late).

Experian really does not cooperate with my fico.  you are better off pulling them direct.  The fico score you get is based on TU.

Re: Experian Report via MyFico vs Experian.com

The EX FICO score here is based directly on your Experian report, just as the EQ FICO score is based directly on your Equifax report, and the TU FICO score is based directly on your TransUnion report. If you choose to buy the "credit score" directly from the Experian site (not recommended), it's the Experian PLUS score, not from TransUnion.

Kilogram, I'm going to send the link on this thread to the admins, and see if someone can take a look. Essentially, the problem is that these accounts shows as IIB on the full EX report, but not on the myFICO EX report, correct?

Re: Experian Report via MyFico vs Experian.com

the my fico experian has no scales for positive and negative so they use info from TU for that part. I believe it says that right on the report.  TU is the only one who gives me a negative for no installments and that is what it says on my experian fico. It does not come from EX.
CCCU used EX plus for me. and so did my landlord.
PS: I buy my ficos but i also keep an eye om EX Plus whether it's recommended or not. I also keep an eye on PFICO with WAMU which comes from TU.

really tim--why would i make something up?  I'm either very confused or the statement on my fico experian does not exist.  I certainly do not need to be insulted by a mod. A simple explanation would be sufficient. It looks to me like they don't supply negatives or positives.

Actually if you pull experian direct they use the vantage score.  It is all mind boggling  Credit Expert uses the plus score.

Re: Experian Report via MyFico vs Experian.com

MY EX MYFICO REPORT IS WRONG...IT SHOWS LATE PAYMENTS ON COLLECTIONS...WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS NOT POSSIBLE...AND OTHER ACCOUNT...AND I'M TALKING LATES SO CALLED FROM (JAN.2008, FEB. 2008, MAR. 2008, AND APR.2008)...SO IF IT'S ON THERE...IS THAT WHAT MY FICO SCORE IS BEING BASED OFF...MY TRUECREDIT REPORT SHOWS NONE OF THIS...SO WHATS RIGHT AND WHATS WRONG...I EVEN CALLED EX MYSELF AND THEY SAID NO LATES ARE SHOWING AND NO LATES CAN SHOW ON COLLECTION...

Re: Experian Report via MyFico vs Experian.com

that's what happened to me.  I called EX and everything was correct but not reported to my fico.  So I use EX Credit Expert monitoring and My Fico Scores.  I don't quite understand it but I'm not making it up as I doubt you are.  I also have an account closed by FDIC,etc. which is correct on EX but on My Fico says closed--might be a balance due--they don't know why it's closed.  I tried to do a dispute but you cannot dispute EX through My Fico.

Hi, annie, I truly am not trying to argue with you; I'm just trying to see where you read this.

I pulled up one of my myFICO EX reports, and I saw this on screen 2:
Understanding Your FICO® Score

What’s helping your FICO® score

This page normally lists the information that is on your credit report that is helping your FICO® score. Experian does not supply us with information for this section but credit reports from Equifax or TransUnion do. So please make sure you check this page with your FICO® score and credit report from Equifax or TransUnion to see what you are doing right with your credit.
(emphasis mine)

The sentence that I highlighted could definitely use a comma after "for this section". But to me, this is saying "Experian does not supply us with the positive factors that would normally go in this section. If you want to get a feel for your positives, check your EQ and TU reports, because Equifax and TransUnion do supply this info, and you can see it on those reports."

Experian definitely does supply negative info, as you could tell if you could see my EX reports, lol. And this is found in the next section, where it says:
What’s hurting your FICO® score

The negative factors listed here are reasons why your FICO® score is not higher. You should focus on changing the behavior that caused these negative factors. These factors are listed in order of their impact to your score, the first has the greatest negative impact and the last has the least.

Please note that a negative factor can be provided even if you are better than the national average on that factor. This means that there is still some room to work on this factor.
(and then all the dreary scoldings about my lates and new accounts appear on my report.)

I imagine that there is no scale on screen 1, because without any positives supplied by Experian, the negative side would be all the way at the bottom, with the empty positive side dangling high in the air.

But I stumble over something new on these sites every week, so I would not be surprised if there is another reference to this somewhere. I'm just going with what I quoted up above.
