So I got a couple alerts today and logged into MyFico and found a new inquiry listed for a Washington Fed SVGS / Puy. That is Washington Federal Savings out of Puyalup, Wa. I called the bank and they searched their system and could find no evidence of me having applied. Next I called TU and they said there was no such inquiry on that date from Washington Fed SVGS either. I've never had an account there or applied for any of their products, ever. I got a bit nervous, as I thought someone might be applying for credit who isn't me. So, my question is, how would MyFico be alerting me to a non-existent inquiry?
