I paid down my utilization from about 65%-7% and I had a recent collection deleted off that was put on there in nov. My alerts was set at my score to the exact. I called customer service they said I didn't have anything new happen to my account which I new was not true. I received a email saying no score changes this week which I new was not true so I pulled my last report and low and behold my score had increased 44 points. I called customer service she gave every excuse in the book as to why I didn't get alerted she goes on to tell me that thousand of people have this product and they never get these complaints. I told that was untrue because I have had this service before and I have complained before this time. I told her I wanted to cancel my score watch service she said she would at the end of my three months I was very upset that I had to use my new report just to get my correct score. So she went ahead and cancelled the service for may 23 so I'm still paying for something that does not work. Can you say pissed this is ridiculous. I have been burned twice for this service this will be the last time I subscribe to it.
Something is WRONG with SW this week for sure. I got an alert saying NO Score Change, too. There is NO WAY bc I paid down to accounts to zero, thus reducing AAoA AND the number of cards reporting balances.
Later that day, I DID get an alert saying that my score had gone up 9 points because "Balance to limit ratio is not hurting as much."
I'm really glad I didn't pay for the report myself, which I have done too many times to count. And yes, calling the CSR's will get you absolutely nowhere but more p'd off than you already are.
Finally got two updates, LOL! One for a student loan being paid and another for score bump.
I was determined not to use a Score Power report. It was touch and go for a day or two.
Haha..I gave up on Scorewatch about a month ago. I had the same issues with not getting expected updates. I subscribed to USAA instead and figured I would get more bang for my buck by just monitoring my report as often as I want. I will be more tempted to buy my score the next time I want to apply for something
