Curious, how many points did you lose from the two inquiries ? Is there a threshold that SW uses to alert you ?

i did not lose any points at all....thats the funny thing other than not getting any score watch alerts for the inquiries.
As far as the threshold, i have no idea. I would think that any inquiries would give me an alert!!!!

I think that's probably why you didn't see an alert, I believe scorewatch only sends notifications when your score goes up or down.

Thats not true. I have received alerts for both inquiries and new accounts that resulted in no score change.

I have new accounts added, and I know that for a fact because I pulled EQ directly from their site
and still no alert
This is NOT right
and I am going to cancel this service

It's really only useful for knowing your EQ FICO score if updates happen.

I don't agree, if someone is trying to get credit in your name don't you want to know
Besides my wife has score watch also and she purchased a new car in May and the next day got a score watch alert showing the inquiries, it also stated that here score had not changed.
I spend good money for this services and when Myfico says it will alert you to changes in your report, I expect an alert without having to purchase a report to find out!!
And another thing, I had received 2 or 3 emails from Myfico since I purchased the car that said "No Alerts this week"

@ 669,
There's a population SW works perfectly for. That being said, I still feel it's better suited to people with very little movement on their reports and not in rebuilding mode.
I enjoy the forum a great deal and benefit from all the help, wisdom, and silliness. I really feel a forum's strength or weakness comes from its members but keep SW as a way of being supportive. Obviously, there are less expensive/frustrating ways of monitoring changes to one's report but most of them don't include FICO scores. Still, I more or less feel SW's FICO score is a snapshot and likely inaccurate between updates, LOL!

myFICO is the consumer division of FICO. Since its introduction 20 years ago, the FICO® Score has become a global standard for measuring credit risk in the banking, mortgage, credit card, auto and retail industries. 90 of the top 100 largest U.S. financial institutions use the FICO Score to make consumer credit decisions.
