Questions about Scorewatch

Hey,

Will myFICO scorewatch notify or have alerts whenever new balances are posted to EQ report on a daily basis? Or is it updated during a set interval of time (i.e. 1 week, etc)?

Thanks

If you go into ScoreWatch "settings", in addition to the selection for the score for which you want notification, there's also an option for "balance changes", where you can choose a dollar amount, a percentage amount, or both.  I have mine set for both a $$$ amount as well as a %%% amount, and get notifications any time there's a change in either.

AMEX Gold NPSL / AMEX Zync NPSL / AMEX Blue Cash Preferred $14K / Bank of America Cash Rewards Signature Visa $15K / Merrill Lynch Plus Signature Visa $15K / Wells Fargo Propel 365 $15K / Chase Sapphire Preferred Signature Visa $10K / J P Morgan Select Signature Visa $10K / Chase Slate Visa $6K / CITI Diamond Preferred MasterCard $13.2K / Discover IT $10.5K / IberiaBank Select Visa $8K / 1st Command Bank Platinum Visa $7.5K // Home Depot $9.7K / Lowes $10K

EX = 768 EQ = 828 TU = 834 - June/2014

Re: Questions about Scorewatch

I usually get balance change alerts a few days after the statement for any given card. Keep in mind that it will only alert you to INCREASES in balance. And, as always, make sure in your settings that your goal score is set to your CURRENT score, and update it when you get a score alert.

Starting Score: EQ 583 TU04 619 EX 592 (lender pull) 2010
Previous High Score: EQ 700 TU04 712 EX 726
Current Score: EQ 740 TU(Discover) 750 EX(AMEX) 747
Goal Score: 740+ all around
