Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

Is this correct? SW will update my FICO score every 7-10 days if the score has changed?

Even if it doesn't change.

Some people get an email to the effect that in the past week there has been no change in your score. I haven't seen it personally, but others have posted it.

I haven't received any update, including 'no update'.. since July 18th. I'm constantly feeling ripped off by this product.

Try calling CS? Or maybe Barry can escalate your issue.

If you have pulled an additional score power report since then, your 7-10 days will reset to new report date.

Re: Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

Do you have reason to believe there's been a change to your credit report or score that should have triggered an alert?  Not sure why you wouldn't have at least received a 'no update' alert.

There's been an additional free report added to your Score Watch subscription so you can see if there have been any changes.  Then you can contact Customer Care if you still feel you should have received an alert since 7/18.  Good luck, jommie!  Smiley Happy

Re: Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

I had paid down considerable balances in the last two months and there should be at least one INQ.

My score went up 20 points when I just used the Score Power report - definitely something off here.

Re: Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

I think I'm having the same problem. :-(  A new account was added and no SW alert. Thankfully I'm still in my 30 day trial. I'll wait it out to see if anything updates but from all the problems I've read about, that may not happen. :-(

Seems to be hit or miss with SW...

Re: Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

Yep, 18 days without an alert and having a 20 point increase definitely raises a red flag.  It shouldn't be difficult to send updates... that is the whole point of this 'software'.

Re: Score Updates Every 7-10 days?

Both my wife and I went for 6 weeks without an update. Customer Service seems clueless when I try to tell them I should at least get a message saying my score hasn't changed. They keep trying to explain the recent changes to SW (about not getting an alert for any score change), but I try to tell them that that change has nothing to do with this.
