I have both Score Watch and Fico Quarterly Monitoring, neither service has sent an alert for a new account I opened.
I get weekly alerts that says nothing has changed. I also get alerts from Score Watch that my score has changed.
Something is amiss, my score goes up then it goes down. I know we're not supposed to pay attention to Score Watch reasons
because thy make no sense. Why am I not alerted about a new account?
I have another CMS with USAA and each bureau has reported the new account and is noted on each report provided by USAA
Credit Monitoring Service. Why is Score Watch and FICO Quarterly Monitoring so slow?
I'm worried that the CMS sevices provided by My FICO may be misplacing this new account.
I also have an ID Protection service that has duly noted the new account.
Hi veracious,
I can understand why FQM didn't alert you, since it only alerts quarterly and that new account probably wasn't being reported as of your last report in April. Let us know if it's not with your July TU report when that comes.
As for SW, while you've received alerts to other changes recently, it clearly didn't alert you to that new account for some reason. I've let our tech team know about this and have added another free report to your subscription. Thanks for letting us know.
