Re: Score Watch - No Alerts

I've never had any issues with score watch. I had it for three months now.

Re: Score Watch - No Alerts

I've found that aging updates are delayed, but "action" updates are pretty dead on.  For instance, I knew I would gain a couple points going into January, based on a derog aging.  I applied for a DCU account and subsequent loan, which pulled EQ and gives you a Beacon score (same as here).  They told me I was at 660, whereas SW had me at 645 still.  I was confused, but the very next day I got an alert for a new inquiry, and lo and behold, my score also updated, to a 660.  In the past I've seen the "aging" score updates are a few days behind.

Re: Score Watch - No Alerts

My alerts usually comes a few days after my credit card reports. On average three days like clock work.

I've had it for 11 months and I was beginning to get so many alerts, it was becoming annoying - but I won't cancel it because it's annoying...it works as advertised.

5/2012: 560 credit scores across the board

Re: Score Watch - No Alerts

It didnt for me. And for a lot of other people. Like I said, google scorewatch delayed updates and youll see how common place it is.

Im sure theres a reason why they have a score watch and a discounted equifax fico score for those subscribed to score watch..

Honestly im glad it worked for you. I dont get what that does for me and the countless others though

Re: Score Watch - No Alerts

The delay is no more than a day or two. ie:  New info can be seen on credit report on Jan 3, but score watch alert is dated Jan 4, possibly Jan 5.

This is not an issue for anyone just looking to monitor their FICO score.  Maybe if you are so addicted to credit cards and loans and are so compulsory that you need to immediately apply for new credit cards on the exact day that your score increases by a few points, then I could see how it would be depressing to go a full-day without having a new credit card or loan approval.  But for normal users looking for an accurate FICO monitoring tool with regular updates to keep track of credit trends over time, Score Watch works great.

Re: Score Watch - No Alerts -- Update

I am happy to let you all know that score watch did send me an update about my score change. I did apply for Credit with my bank which resulted in a HP, which in turn resulted in an update from score watch.
