Score Watch alerts and Balances

If I just recently paid down a cc and the statement date has past (plains commerce bank) Should I see an alert right away ? Or are balance decreses not considered an alert?

No, you won't get an alert per se, but if you have your target score set to your current score, any changes to the score (if helped by the debt paydown) will alert you to the score change.
