Ive had TU Quarterly update since June and recently I added 5 new accounts (2 of these are AMEX and backdated so problably not triggering system). However, 3 of these new accounts that I added in early Sept are already reporting to all 3 CR's and didnt trigger any new account alert from TU monitors. Ive added Chase Amazon, Walmart Discover and Chase Freedom. The last account alert I have on my TU monitor is from 9/10 for my Cap1 account. Nothing on these new accounts at all.
EDIT: Just noticed that it also didnt detect a single credit inquiry. Really? Does this service work?
I applied for the new accounts on 9/10 and 9/14. I had 2 inquiries on TU (Walmart and AMEX) and the new accounts are all reporting on all CR's.
What date (roughly) was your latest TUQM report?
I guess I'll call customer service and see what they can find out. I dont get why the program didnt alert me to the new accounts or inquiries. SW did alert me changes in score when new accounts posted but TUQM hasnt done anything.
Just got off phone with CSR. She said that I really only get public record monitoring and that it only updates every 90 days. Im confused. Isnt TUQM supposed to actively tell me when new accounts and inquiries hit? I shouldnt have to wait 90 days until I manually pull my TUQM report. I dont think the service is doing what its supposed to be doing and the CSR wasnt really any help in clarifying this.
If I have 2 inquiries on TU in early September and 3 new accounts created, shouldnt I have at least 1 alert?
I didn't respond earlier because I was second guessing myself due to your pic, but my answer would have been the same. FICO Quarterly Monitoring is just that...a quarterly monitoring product with the alerts coming in when the new report generates. I've always understood it that the daily/weekly monitoring is based on demographic info only. I've received alerts due to new addresses and contact info. But because I haven't opened too many accouts or applied for anything for the past couple of years, I was second guessing.
So its really only good for a payment plan for 4 TU reports. Shame, I was thinking it did more.
It's basically a pre-paid plan for TU FICO reports every 3 months. It doesn't work like SW.

Great to know what this service is really about. Thanks for the info!
