It definitely updates if a new collection HITS but not deleted. I was also not alerted when the judgment was removed.
I don't think SW is working AT ALL!! I had a Mortgage inquiry on 11/28 that was thru Equifax Mortgage Solutions and they show my EQ score 17 points higher than SW using Beacon 5.0. I last paid for a report on 11/25 and haven't received any alerts & it still says my score is the same. I would think a new inquiry would show up as well as the score changes?!! True Credit TU report showed the Inquiry next day.....go figure!
It makes me so happy when I get a SW alert out of the blue and it has gone up! Got 8 points today. SW alert says it's bc two collections I disputed "changed" - Dont know what changed - maybe they really fixed them?
IDK but i'm happy SW is working.

Holly - hang in there. SW was always slow for me to alert me to inquiries, but they eventually did.
So, couldn't stand the waiting for no updates any longer & bought ANOTHER report today. My new score is a 26 point increase over the report I just bought on 11/25. I'm totally excited about the increase because that's what I am working so hard for, but someone needs to find out why the score changes are not updating. What does "score watch" mean if my score is not being monitored??
I absoultely LOVE the forums but feel that SW should be updating my scores when they change and I shouldn't have to pay to find that out every time. Am I completely wrong in my expectations?

What changed on your report and when? Remember, the score is only monitored every week or so and if you had a change 3 days ago, as an example, due to improved util, or whatever, you wouldn't get alerted to that that day because it is only monitored every week. And this is assuming the target score was correctly set whereby your new score surpassed it. Historically, most of my increases were on the first of each month due to account aging, changes in AAoA, etc. Could the 26 have occurred today? If so, the score alert would not likely have happened by now anyway. Just today, I gained 10 on EQ and I think that was due to my oldest revolving turning a decade old today. No alerts, but it just happened today and there shouldn't be any alerts that quickly.
FTR, DW and I both subscribe to SW. We each got a couple of alerts over the past 10 or so days due to balance increases. Thankfully, no drops though.
I'll tell you what happened.
My student loans re-reported. Now I have 3 student loan accounts that date back to 8/2009 instead of the one I should have. Got 8 points.
The 2 accounts disputed (Both inaccurate) continue to report, surprise suprise. Sallie Mae HAD NO LATES ever, I know this bc I was able to qualify consolidate no problem.
The Nissan still reports DOFD as my bk filed date. WRONG WRONG WRONG. gggrrrr
I guess I didn't get a SW alert since they backdated the "newly reported" loans?
Paid for a report last night & got an alert today dated yesterday for 9 points less than the report I ordered. I'm going with the higher of the two since they're both dated the same day & the higher score is listed on top (most current) of the Fico History tab and on the main page and I've only been doing paydown/payoffs & no new charges.
Since I got where I needed to be for the LO, I'm just addicted to watching it go up!! Now that I've been educated by all of you, I plan on making it into the "700 Club" real soon I hope!

Why wouldn't it alert if a collection was deleted especially if makes your score go up?
