spam text from myfico?

Just received a text from "MyFico" advising me to Log in via a link embedded in the text, due to suspicious activity.

I'm assuming you did not send that and I'm curious how the spammer/fisher got my cell phone number?

generally spam texts are illegal, but you should talk to a lawyer about it.

This is not spam. This is the correct SMS box from which text notifications are currently sent.
