Approved for Chase Freedom 6 months after CSP - Should I try Slate?

It's been a long road towards credit rebuilding. In January of this year, I went on an application run and was approved for a quite a few cards simultaneously. My two best cards are: Chase Sapphire Preferred and Citi Executive; both with good limits at 5K. I spend quite heavily with CSP and even racked up a trip to Turkey with my rewards. They increased my limited to 6K four months after opening. I waited six months and did the pre-qualify offer and it showed Freedom and Slate. I applied for Freedom and instant approved for 3.5K. I’m not sure if that means my max with Chase is 9.5K. Any ideas if I should try the Slate right now?

Wow, congratulations!!!! How did the CSP rewards get you a trip? I'm firmly gardening now, but maybe my fiancee and I should get one to use post-wedding.

I took the 40K for signing up and then I built up around 32K afterwards. Total trip reward amount was for 72K. Booked it and it was one the airlines website immediately. Wonderful experience.

Wow, I'm going to sound like a commercial, but I should check that out after building up some history with Chase. Congratulations on such effective use of your card!
