Wells Fargo Propel World Amex approved

I got approved for the Wells Fargo Propel World Amex today. However, I was only approved for $2,500. I assumed that the World version carried a minimum credit line of $5,000. Apparently, I was sadly mistaken. This is my second card from Wells Fargo in as little as three months. I just opened up checking account and my first Wells Fargo credit in March 2014. I was started out at $2,500 on the first card as well, but asked for a CLI the beginning of June and they increased it to $5,00 which is what I had asked for. We'll play with moving money into Wells Checking in about three months and then ask for a CLI and see what happens. Currently, I only maintain $1,100 in the Wells Fargo checking.

Congrats! I've been pleased with WF. Was able to get SP CLI every 4-6 months. Took a HP recently so that I could double CL from 5K to 10K.

WF has been very good to me. I hope they are to you as well.

They have only ever soft me on equifax. Beginning of June they did a hp on tu for a cli which they denied.
