Sallie Mae is mine :)

I have been checking Sallie out for quite some time. I wasn't sure if I could make her mine until today, I found myself thinking about her dreamy rewards...5% cashback on groceries, 5% cashback on gas, and 5% on Amazon purchases. I figure why not try right? Maybe shes to good for me, maybe not only one way to find out...APP! I finally got up the nerve to click the apply button and she said yes, yes I'll be yours! Unfortunately she only gave me $350 dollars and after recon I couldn't get it raised because my exposure is "pretty good" with Barclay right now (just under 10k across 3 cards so I cant disagree). I did however move $1000 over to the Sallie card from my rarely used Rewards Visa. Thinking once I pay off my 0% promo on the Rewards Visa I'll close it and move the entire line over to the Sallie.

Anyway just wanted to share my approval for the day!

Thanks everyone, pretty pumped about it! Been a good year so far for approvals, cant wait to take advantage of Sallie rewards and pay my student loan down a bit faster!

Nice, this card is next on my list even though I dont really like Barclay's, that 5% is hard to turn down, LOL. Grats on your SM

Sallie Mae was one of my denials during an app spree back at the first of the year. No amount of RECONS (3) made any difference but i'm patiently waiting it out and going to nail that puppy sometime this year (i hope)
