So I just out of nowhere decided I wanted a CLI on my NFCU cashback card. Originally I had $5,500 and I've had the card for ~5months...I was a little skeptical of doing it cause I had a balance. After closing out the page 3times, I finally decided to go through with it and apply for double my current limit. As soon as I hit submit, the page loads up with my new limit of $10,000. You have to love NFCU; maybe next time I'll get them to lower my APR ^_^

Congrats I just got a cli after only having my nrewards for less then 3 months from 6k to 8.5k. And it was a sp. also I had a 2k balance

I have almost had the card for 3 months, i'm at 25k limit, and considering requesting a CLI, but curious if they will HP me on anything over 25k automatically. card was originally at 18k balance, and have paid it down to 12k, with BT's and heavy usage.

Was $10k the exact amount you asked for or the instant counter amount of your $11k request?

If you asked for $10k, I would go back and ask for $25k and get the full amount in the system for you, it will instantly counter back and ask if you want to take it.

Yes, Anything over $25k gets hp and manual review so you my as well make it worth it and ask to go to at least $50k but be prepared to send them paystubs if you have not done so recently... you can even upload them in your secure messaging when you put in the request to make it seamless and quick.
