sams club store card pre approved

i went into sams club today because the fiance has been nagging me to get a membership so when at the counter and went to pay the 45 dollars for membership the lady said congrats you been preapproved for our store credit account with a limit of 700.00 do u accept i said yes with a smile. sucks it wasnt for the mastercard but she did tell me that it can be switched down the road if u do good on the account but i guess we shall see. another 700 to pad uti is not bad

btw this is the second pre approval for ge that ive gotten. dillards store card was the first one online pre approval and the sams club was in store pre approval at the counter.

45 dollars got me a reg membership and a free one for someone else. As far as the cc only for me. She didn't get one
