B335is I believe you have US Bank and 5/3 right? There's another player who uses TU here in Ohio. They use the same FICO 04 as US Bank and 5/3. It's FirstMerit Bank. I applied last week and got denied because of all my new credit. They had no problem with my FICO 04 TU score which came back as 757. Passing that along if you're interested. Couldn't find anything on CB's about them and limited old data on who gave me credit.

Interesting, they have a branch down the street from me. I have a lot of new credit too though. They pulled TU? I wonder if they give instant approvals or if they manually review every app? How many inq did you have to be denied?

I had 3 Inq on TU (they come and go really quickly for me). They do a manual review. I spoke with their sales department who said the credit analyst noted that they had no issue with my score but did have an issue with the new credit. Specifically, the amount of balances I have. This would be my student loans (135k) and my two new vehicle loans I just took out this year. They seemed to be okay with my revolving credit since I really have no balances there.

I got my Flagship Visa in late April 2014 for $15,000. I applied right afterwards for the cashRewards and was denied. The beginning of May, I asked them to take 5k from Flagship to open cashRewards. So I've only had the cashRewards since May 2014. They also gave me a cli on the Flagship earlier this month from 10k-17,500. I had asked for 25k and they countered with the 17.5.

Ok, I have 3 inq now too. I don't have the student loan debt, but I do have $40k auto loan and about $10k revolving debt. I don't think they will like my new accts, I probably won't apply.

Depends on your income really. Mine really doesn't support much (65k).
