Approved for AMEX Gold Delta - Go for BCE???

Ok so am I pushing it? After getting approved for AMEX Delta Gold I am now wondering if I would be pushing my luck to go ahead and go for AMEX BCE. I have the Chase Freedom but to be honest, the only category I am using this quarter is gas. However, I see on BCE I could be using that one for groceries.

I see several people have more than one AMEX but did anyone app for them on the same day? Or should I wait?

Pushing it ? No, you might see if you are lucky enough to get it pushed through using the same inq. It's not a guarantee but if you want the cc, is there a reason to wait?

I apped for my PRG and Delta Gold on the same day. Two apps, One HP.

Ok so I app'd online and got a message to call in and speak with a representative. I did and was informed that AMEX will not process 2 applications on the same day and that I need to call back in after 5 days. I am taking this as not a flat out denial.

I've never heard of that reason I app'ed 2 cards 6/6/13 both approved..... hummm

It can happen -the system flags the second application and will give a wait message.

PC to BCE.....i applied for the delta gold and was approved and a week later i PC'ed to BCE without any problems

I actually want both . Delta gold for miles and flight privileges and BCE for daily use. I will patiently wait the 5 days out (all the while checking the appstatus link every day) and see what happens. IF I do have to call back I will confirm it will be the same HP.
