i pulled the trigger and applied, i got approved for 500, will i receive a real card in the mail? i read that they do cli often and i do shop alot online using paypal etc.

Grats on your Paypal approval, have no idea if you get a card or not, if its a bankcard you def will.

actually this says paypal smart connect. im thinking that this is different. im googling now.

smart connect is linked to your paypal only unlike the paypal mastercard... but you do stand a chance to be offered upgrade later.

They bump it just like a CC, but its tied to your Paypal account.

The nice thing is, you can set it as your default payment method in Paypal.

They approved me for $300, and 3 months later bumped it to $1,000.

In another 4 months I'm gonna ask for 15,000. I use mine reasonably well, putting

about $100-200/mo through it, so its getting use

Yes u will get a real card and can use it just like a regular cc at any store I have had my card for about 7 months starting limit was the same and now I'm at only 750 but congrats and enjoy

Congrats on your approval. I don't know whether things have changed. But back when I first got my smart connect account (which was 15 months ago) they sent a paper card with my account number on it. Later on I went ahead and signed up to get their debit card so that I can tie my smart connect account to that.

Definitely. Getting the debit card itself is really easy and the upgrade to your Paypal account is completely free.

I have paypal smart connect. I don't know why people not advising when they don't know.

You will not get real card. Your will get plastic paper account number. Online only.

But you née,do to go to paypal now and apply for business debit card. Not credit check. They will approve.

When you get. You link smart connect to debit. Then will work like reAl card. Smart connect as backup payment. If no cash. On card. Pay bill like any other. And it will report like any other. Get. Will raise limits quickly. So don't worry. Another feather in your hat. Congrats.

thank you applying now. so once i have the debit card connected to my pp credit account i can use it just like a regular cc?

Yes. But never choose debit. Always credit. Will be MasterCard. But if you sell on ebay. Your money will also come to card. They will tell you set up 4 digit pin to get your cash from any ATM. You never need to put money on it. Because the.y are using money from your smart connect account. Anywhere they accept MasterCard. Hope this explains the facts to you.

thank you, one last question, if i did chose debit would it just pull the funds that was in my normal paypal account?

Yes. But if you don't have funds. You may get charged cash advance fee. So important to just choose credit every time to avoid high interest. No mercy for a cash advance.
