Amazon Store Card

So I applied for the Amazon (Store GE/Chase card)

Initially I applied for the Chase backed Amazon card and it was sent to review, I'm guessing that's where it still is. Well shortly after I got an email that my Amazon card backed by GE had been approved for 1.1K. I called the Chase auto service line and it says still in review, I really don't need both but if it is approved can I PC that to anything else? Also what is a number I can call on it to find out a definitive answer vs. waiting 7-10 for the mail?

You can call underwriting or app recon line for an immediate answer with chase:

Chase: 888-245-0625 (Credit Analyst - Recons)

also, I don't think there's a PC available for the Synchrony account. For the Chase there isn't much available to PC it to now that you can't have 2 or more of 1 card. Plus it's cobranded so I don't think that's possible, anyway. I would recommend if you don't have CSP or anything that is 2% for food (fast food/restaurants) just use it for that as well. Plus, it's still 3% for Amazon -- how much is your GE card going to give you back if anything?

Congratulations on the store card. I did something similar - app'ed for the Amazon Visa, got the 7-10 day review and then was approved for the store card. I thought Chase denied me but a week later they sent the Amazon Visa (with my highest limit at the time). So you just to have wait to see what happens. I also called Chase and tried to PC the Amazon Visa to another card but was told it was not possible because of their arrangement with Amazon. You can still try though.

So did you apply for both cards or just the Chase version and they approved you for the GE version instead?

You applied for chase amazon card and got approved for GE store card, chase app is in review!! WTH! Check your hard pulls and call chase# which Kenny shared. As far as chase amazon pc goes, you cannot , i tried couple of times and they said NO i dont think you can pc ge store card either.

Alright. I have my fingers crossed that maybe just maybe it's possible from their end so I don't have to have a HP done in December to get the card. Besides, it would be so great to have a Visa Siggy Chase Freedom in my wallet. The benefits of it sound a lot like what I have with my student Discover It card except with a much bigger limit.
