Late night app spree! What are chances of approval for the pending cards?

Just thought I'd share what cards I got!

So my most recent inquiries are from 9 months ago, I think I have like 8 of them from november.

Anyway, I didn't check my credit score but it should be okay, credit, creditkarma, quizzle etc are all mid 700s.

Profile:

20 Y/O

Full time student and employed $15k/yr

~ No baddies

BMW Loan

Toyota Loan

Best Buy (3k) - Useless

BillMeLater (2k) - Non-reporting

Approved:

Amex Everyday - 2k

Chase Freedom - 2.2k

Chase Slate - 2k

Discover IT - 1k

Pending:

Amex Blue Cash Everyday - It said call for an instant decision but the rep said since I applied twice the second one will take a few days for review - something about duplicate appications

Chase Sapphire - I was prequalified for this card and instantly approved for 2 but the 3rd one said under review

Denied:

2 Capital One cards (forgot which ones I applied)

Barclay

Citi - Rediculous, had over 20k in my savings with them and everytime I applied I got denied even trying recon.. I give up on this one lol

Anyway, I thought it was weird Capital One and Barclay denied me. What do you think the chances are of getting an approval for the pending Amex and Chase?

Congrats!!! If I were you, I would atleast try to RECON with them. You have nothing to loose. We had seen many who got success through RECON.

Go ahead and call Amex and see what they tell you. The department that works on getting the application decision out doesn't work on weekends so call on Monday and see what happens. I apped for two Amex cards in one day and got approved for both of them.

With the cards you were able to get, I wouldn't feel bad about not having a CapOne card quite frankly. I've been wanting a Freedom card for quite a long while now but just can't seem to get my foot in the door with Chase as of now (mainly because of not having over a year of credit history, new accounts, INQs, that sort of stuff) so I'm waiting a long while and trying them again so the fact you were able to get two cards with them is amazing to me.

Congrats, and welcome to the forums! If you applied for Barclays late into your spree, they might have declined due to the several inq's you initiated prior to them. Word around here seems to be that Barclays is really sensitive to inq's.

Congrats on your approvals! Great cards you have coming!

I believe you can only app for two Chase cards within 30 days which is why your Sapphire may have gone into review. As for CapitalOne, don't even worry about it. Their cards are not very good compared to what you were approved for. Barclays is VERY recon friendly. However, once they see those INQs they may not approve you after recon.

Congratulations on your approvals and good luck with your recons. As far as capital one if you applied for cards that require excellent credit they have a terrible system. Even if you have scores above 750 across the board they will deny you for not having an open credit card for 3 years with a limit above $5k. Pretty dumb I know so don't feel bad about those.
