60% CLI approval on Walmart Credit Card from Synchrony Bank/GECRB! (and a question)

I had a $1,000 credit limit on my Walmart Credit Card and I asked for a CLI online and it was granted immediately! My CL is now $1,600! This was after 4 statements; not 4 months. There were a few months where I did not carry a balance.

Guide to Receiving Online/Auto/Soft Pull CLIs:

To have to best chances obtaining a CLI in 3 - 4 months, I would recommend carrying a balance until your statement cuts, then you can pay in full as long as you make more purchases/transactions or the mininum payment matches your balance.

Does anyone know if there's a certain CL your card can reach before they will upgrade it to a Walmart MasterCard (no longer a Discover)? If not applicable, what circumstances will allow an upgrade to a Walmart MasterCard?

Congrats! There seems to be no reasoning on the the PC. It took me 26 months to get it and others less then a year. Thanks for sharing.

I disagree with the statement you made about making a purchase during a month. I just got a CLI today from $5,200 to $8,000 via Credit Solutions and haven't made a purchase since end of June!

Thanks for catching my mistake! I probably should edit my statement. I meant to say online/auto CLIs/possible soft pulls (no customer service). That's what I've achieved without Credit Solutions. Imagine my success if I actually bothered to call customer service!

My call literally took 6 mins 10 seconds today!! Go for it!

I don't wanna call out "mistakes" just clarifying my experience! I only got $200 auto luv from them after 2 months of open account! So you're doing much better on your account than mine! But I would HIGHLY suggest calling and asking for more! They're a great utilization cushion!

Also, they'll ask for your account number, if you don't have it handy, they can use your SSN to access your account

I called last night for the second time in the past 6 months and NOTHING! Hit the luv button and NOTHING! Statement cut on the 22nd at $0, previous statements were at about 25% utilization. Had the card for over a year. CONGRATS on your success, I have yet to understand the Wal-Mart beast. On the other hand, JCPenney LOVES me! Go figure GE/Synchrony!!#

Quite frankly I've always had better luck with auto CLIs for GE stuff. The two times I've called Credit Solutions just resulted in denials. Lol. And the craziest thing is that weeks after one of the calls I made, they automatically increased my limits substantially anyway.

They Just cut my third statement. Realize that it is a SP, but do you think Sycnh Bank does a reset every time you hit the Luv button or call Credit Solutions and are denied a CLI?
