So after talking to the EO about trying to manage a 300$ cl on friday, today i checked my account and noticed a 2200 cli after only having my cap1 plat for a total of 45 days!

First Congrats on the increase!

Second..... 45 days and you got an increase? **bleep**? I've had my card for a year and a half and only just as of today got up to $1,000. Unless you have other credit cards with some really good history in which CapOne's computer system messed up in assigning you a small line, I think you should have waited at least 9 months before trying for an increase with CapOne in my opinion!

Thanks guys. @linux, I suspect the limit was low because it was my first revolving credit account. But I told them young lady who gave me a call that with my job, (entertainment company) I'd be traveling a lot over the next couple months and wanted to use my master card and that with such a low cl I might as well just use cash. Cracked a couple jokes, complimented her voice and bam! There it was today. Too bad it just missed my statement cut date.

Congrats! I tried with my accounts, both had $500 limits, asked for $1500 each, lady was super nice...i've had the one account for like 8 years, she called next day and said sorry we couldn't get you approved for what you wanted but we gave you a $100 CLI on both cards....yah...thanks...guess i'll be trying again later on
