Lowe's (GE) CLI - broke the 10k barrier!

So I finally got around to calling GE Credit Solutions today for my Lowe's card. It was stuck at 10k for the last year. One simple phone call, and my limit is now 20K. Only asked for Income, and amount of increase I wanted, no other questions. Also pressed LUV button for Walmart Discover last week, and went up to 7.5k (was 6k). I am not going to be greedy, didn't ask for another CLI on Walmart over phone since I just pressed the LUV button for it last week. I have one other GE card, a Dillard's AMEX currently at 7.5k. For some reason, they won't budge on this account.

I am fine with the CLI's I received, I use the Walmart card for groceries, etc. and PIF whenever I use it so 7.5k is enough. They also have been still giving regular CLI's online. I am going to buy som new kitchen cabinets on Lowe's, so I wanted that limit higher so it won't look maxed out. I rarely use Dillard's (no store nearby) so I will just keep it active, and one day maybe get a CLI.

@ LS, I use Lowe's fairly often. I have a couple of rental properties, so it comes in handy for repair items, etc. I use it the most of my GE cards, and have been shopping for cabinets and countertops, and it would be nice to be able to get everything I need without having to max out a card.

If you run your rentals through a business; be sure to check out the amex lowes. 5% off plus 2% in rewards cannot be beat!
