BankAmericard INSTANT APPROVAL

Heck yeah!
So restless on a Tuesday night, I decided it was time to app for a BT card.

The BankAmerica Visa card comes with 15 months @0% interest!

I'm floored by the credit limit I received:
$10,000!!!!!!

Last time I app'ed BOA, I was denied with a 672 Experian. This time my Experian myFICO was 694. I got the highest after intro apr at 20.99%, but I can't remember the last time I paid sticker price interest rates. Lol

I know this wasn't the best idea, BUT I'm glad I did it and that I'm in with BOA! Hopefully, they won't turn out like Citi!

Without this forum, I can't say that I'd have ever gotten any prime cards. :-) thanks everyone!

You weren't the only one who was restless last night--I app'd for BoA, too, and was approved for $5k lol. How did you find out your APR? My approval screen didn't list anything except the approved amount.

I called them :-) just the regular customer service line. It was an outsourced rep, but je was super nice! Lol

Well, I had seen all the recent approvals here plus they have a better BT offer atm!

Hopefully you are not setting yourself up for a hurting later. I know you just closed some GE accounts. Bofa does give so on going Balance transfer deals once you becime a member , but I am not sure if they offer them to everyone. I only started recieving them on my siggy when my apr was dropped from 20 range to 15.99 a few months ago.

So Im extremely happy with BOA atm. I called them to ask when I'd receive the card, and they gave me the normal spiel but then offered me an 18 month 0% direct deposit into my Checking account... So they offered me an extra three months. I went ahead and did it, and the extremely nice Rep said my cash would be in my checking account in 16-18 days.

Now it may be wise for me to cut another GE card but I think I'll just let ' em ride! Lol

Well, Citi auto Closed my Diamond preferred account. For me, Citi and BOA have always been uber hard to get with subpar Customer Service. Heh
But it appears as though BOA likes my credit much better now!

what caused them to close it?? I just got approved for one and its my highest CL so hopefully I can avoid making a similar mistake.

At the time I had $170,000 avail credit. Since then, Ive trimmed about $30k or so in avail revolving credit. They said I had "too much open credit"
Tbh, my Citi card was almost maxxed $4500/5000, but I had no missed payments and low util across the board.
I guess just don't have too much open credit?

Congrats! The point on getting a good BT card is that they provide you with a good initial CL and BofA did!

thanks for the info.... I will be sure not to maxx it out. It's a very sexy card, would hate to see it go

I definitely wont be worried about having too much available credit anytime before the 0% for 18 months expires.
