Thanks for the heads up! I too just requested a CLI by hitting the luv button and got a $500 increase! I had tried before and was denied.

It appears to be a soft pull, usually is with Cap 1. Yeah, I think 500 is their standard amount. I am still thinking I may cancel the Card because I have many other cards with much higher limits and rewards. I really should contact the EO about getting the annual fee removed and all the typical stuff, but I just cant seem to find the motivation. LOl

Have the old HSBC/Orchard card that was recently converted to CapOne Platinum. Saw this thread and figured what the hey and gave the LUV button a shot.

Got the standard $500 increase everyone else seems to be recieving. Fine by me as I do not really need it, but will help my UTIL%. Main reason I keep it around is it was my lowest interest rate at 9.9%. Been sock drawered for a while though as my Discover IT with 0% until 9/14 is hard to beat !

Worked for me as well. Old HSBC +500. Total of 1K now. Just got to get them to drop the $70 annual fee or I'll still have to drop it

I, too, was just approved for CLI using the button. I just tried on Friday and got the same "no CLI during transition" response so it appears they are past that phase. My 5 year old HSBC increased from $600 to $1100.

Ha... I got the same exact thing. Old HSBC card, told no increases during the transition, tried tonight and bam, 500 exactly, same as everybody else. Apparently it is universal; every cap1 customer is receiving a 500 cli today; haha. For a SP, I'll take it of course. Congrats to everyone.

Edit: One interesting note. I got the 500 dollar increase but it now says on my account that my available credit is 1000 dollars more than my credit limit. For a total increase of 1500 actually. Is this a glitch in the system? Has anyone else experienced this?
