I applied at 12:40pm on 9/11/14 and at 12:50pm I got this email (looks like I am approved but need to send in a bunch of documents to prove what I said in the app):

Don't know who they pulled. If I get a message from the reporting agency that something was pulled I will post.

I have 21 CC's outstanding.

22 now with Iberia.

The 2 primary cards I use are AMEX and Citi Prestige for when they don't take AMEX.

On Amex I currently have a $1000 on it, will pay off tomorrow.

Citi prestige about $13, will pay off tomorrow.

Zero balance on 20 other cc's.

I have 5 personal line of credits, all zero balances.

I use all cards every 6 months to keep active, then pay off.

Scores are in the 770+ range. Income: $105,000 (FT job) + ($15,000 PT job)

This past year I did an app spree and opened upwards of 6+ accounts (CC and PLOC) already, so those pulls show on my report when Iberia underwrite me.

Oldest account is AMEX 1991. Since 1991 never late, never missed a payment, no negatives ever.

I called Iberia Bank customer service to check on my account opening status. To recap, yesterday I submitted an online app for visa platinum and within ten minutes of the app submission, I got an email response with conditional approval. Within 5 minutes I emailed back to them the docs they wanted (proof of address, phone, income, Identif). Today 9/12, one day later I called and the rep said the account was approved today for $14,000, 9.25% rate. (I forgot to ask what credit report they pulled)

$14,000 is up there. In the past year my CL from new issuers from Barclay's, Citi, Chase are no more than $10,000 each CC. So $14,000 with IberiaBank with no prior relationship with them is geenrouds of them. The highest limit I have is Cap one quicksilver at $20,000 BUT it was $20,000 when it was originally HSBC before Cap one bought them out and the CL stayed at $20K under cap on quicksilver

Yes first time I am aware of a bank pulled all three for a CC. I asked her specifically which of those 3 did you pull, just one of what? She said "all three" in no uncertain terms. (edit: this tells me they are conservative in triple checking all reports to makesure they are all "positive" reports). Cross checking sort ot speak.

I also applied for a Simmons Bank Visa Plat. credit card the same day as Iberia Bank, 9/11/14.

Today 9/12/14 Iberia already approved me. I have not heard anything from Simmons yet. I called Simmons today 9/12 and they said if I don't hear anything from them by Sept 29 (2 weeks), then call them. So I will wait for Simmons.
