Wow, Thanks to ShortLady, she posted that she was approved for NFCU nRewards and after getting information from her I decided to take a leap of faith. Well to my greatest surprise I am approved for the biggest CL ever. Is this for real?? Very awesome! Yes, its for real. they gave me a generous Starting Limit in March... 22k on cashRewards Visa

EQ will be the pull 99.5% of the time unless there is something they are 'on the fence' about.

Thanks Guys, it wasn't stressful, just called gave the lady my annual salary, address and she said" you will hear within 3-5 business days". 30 minutes later got an e-mail from them saying you've been approved. WOW.

To my surprise I was approved recently too after reading some info on them on other credit boards. 6000 CL!! They pulled TU I'm pretty sure. It seems they are pretty easy to get. I couldn't even get a Walmart to approve me!! Imagine that :-)

Yes, they are almost too generous. I was recently approved as well and will be using it for my family reunion trip to Chicago so I can take advantage of that cash back. The only rewards card I have is my USAA debit, which I didn't even pay attention to when I got it, that reimburses all of my ATM fees and then some.

I just wanted to share my experience with Navy Fed. My credit took a big hit during some hard times a few years back. About 5 months ago I started working to clear it up, and working to build up good credit with secured cards. My scores started off in the 550-560 neighborhood, and now they're eq:640, Tu: 638, ex:650, not great, but very good considering where they started and in such a short amount of time (and a BIG thank you to everyone who posts great advice on these boards). I joined Navy Fed with a checking account back in 2006, and closed it several years back. Fast forward to today, I rejoined with a checking and savings account (with the goal to establish credit with them, and hopefully get one of their cards). Anyway, I applied for an nRewards card and was approved immediately with a $10k credit limit with prime+9.9%. If anyone out there has any question about using Navy Fed while rebuilding credit, do it!
