Kohl's Approved! Update CLI Denied

They pulled my Experian. I have a lot of inq (28), but they still approved for $700. It's my 2nd lowest after Target. I feel ripped off though, I couldn't use my new card code with the regular discount code because it matched the discount (20%). My EX Fico was 758 as of last week.

***UPDATE***

I requested a CLI and got the letter today that their policy is to consider CLI after 6 months, not sooner.

You'll never be able to use more than one percent off coupon at the same time. Unless you're an employee

There's a Kohl's near me in Ky and i always wondered what sort of start up limit they might offer. I rarely if ever shop there but........

Thanks everyone. It was confusing because at checkout it said you can apply multiple discount codes. But maybe it was the spirited libation influencing my app finger lol. I really do need to check into the garden.

Update: Just spoke to the credit analyst. She said she won't know if a limit increase will be hard or soft pull until she submits it. Kind of goofy, but at least she knew the difference. Needless to say I backed out. My Experian can't take any more hits.

FYI, I tired the other day and was denied (noticed after that I hadn't had the account for 6 months yet. Capital one usually needs 6 months of it being open) and I have not had an inquiriy hit any of my reports. Has been 3 days now.

I don't see why you having trouble appplying discounts and cash rewards. I just did and it worked for me. 20%

I tried online during checkout. It said only one discount was allowed each time.
