NASA + CHASE + BOA + Discover + SM 5/5!!

My original plan was to garden for about 12 months to wait for 2 things to fall off that were 6 & 6.5 years old. I tried GW via phone & online with the CRAs & also with the individual creditors but all in vain. I was going to wait, but then I remembered that by the time the garden date is over for the 2 neg accounts to fall off, that my debt would go from just $12.9k for my car loan to triple that b/c of student loans. So I felt like the two things negated each other - 2 really old neg accounts that are paid vs tripling my debt....

So I decided that I should just apply now & start gardening now, with more than just this useless $500CL (don't get me started on trying to increase this), so that I can start building my AAoA sooner than later. Also b/c I received 2 preapproval offers.

1st app. After hearing about NASA's insane CCs, I did the complimentary savings account with them. Then I did the CC app. I received a 2-3 days needed to review (not good). I called their phone number & the CSR said to wait, underwriters will review. He said I will receive either 1) rejection letter in the mail 7-10 days, or an email in 2-3 days about the approval + possible request for payment proof. Wish me luck!

2nd app. My Chase Freedom preapproval offer that I got online. It mentioned 22.99% APR. Whogavemecredit.com says that the average CL for that APR and my avg CS is about $1950. But I was instantly preapproved for $3500!!!!!! Thank you so much Chase. This $500CL toy limit hell for the last 9 months with Capital One is finally over! No more having to submit online payments literally almost every day or two to avoid going over the $500CL. I literally have 3 pending payments right now... I paid it in full every month and it drives me nuts. Tried a lot to get CLI but total rejection.

3rd app. My personal banking is with BoA since 2009 or 2010. I log in & click Special Offers. It said the Bank of Americard cash rewards etc. The pre-approval offer only said that the APR was from like 15% - $25 APR - not good - but I will pay in full anyways. Plenty of cash, minimal expenses. So I applied & was instantly approved for $1000CL which is enough for me

4th app. Discover iT. Approved online. Not an instant approval - it said we need more info, so I entered my prestigious employer name (name drop?) 6 years employment, and decent income, only $800.00 rent, it thought more, then said YES! 5% cash back, no AF, 22.99% APR, $1200 starting CL. At least it's not a toy limit. I can definitely work with this

FYI - Chase showed up on transunion.com score watch membership instantly (only 1 HP). No alerts from NASA or BoA so far. I will keep ya'll updated.

Update on the inquiries. I ran equifax transunsion and experian reports (unlimited report pulls w/ membership):

NASA: Can't find any SP or HP

CHASE: EXP HP+ TU HP

BOA: EXP HP

DISCOVER: Can't find any SP or HP

Update OP: Approved with Discover for $1200 @ 22.99. So glad it's not a toy limit. I can garden the hell out of these 3 great cards Now I just wonder about NASA.

It's my lowest as well. I'm 691 there, 695 on equifax, and 728 on transunion. I have some new accounts and quite a few inquires from my recent app sprees so we shall see what the outcome is.
