Amex Gold approved and got instant account

Hello Team and friends,

I applied for Amex Preffered Gold Crad for my brother and it was instantly approved.

Now interesting part which I want here from all of you.

At thank you or congratulation page, Amex asked me whether I would be interested to see my card account and start spending even before I revive my card. For which I said ok and agree some terms and conditions and to my surprise .. Boom I saw my card account, CID and expiration date ( this helps me to spend online with obtained card details right way .. Which my brother did right away)

Now Amex site asked me to create online account which we did ....
Instant account and instant membership ....
Interesting way to impress card members ...

Now can you please let me know did any one go thru this and able to become instant member with Amex upon instant approval ...

I am eager to know ...

No..waited about a week for BCE...wonder if its a charge vs. revolver thing....

Approved for Green and didn't get that option. Then app'd and approved for PRG and did get the option. I declined, not really sure why I didn't take the offer.

But I did find it weird that no option for Green but that option is available for PRG.

I was offered the same option upon approval. I assumed AMEX always offered immediate account access on the PRG.
