Personal Loan Thru NASA FCU

So like a lot of people in this community, I hopped on the NASA FCU train and opened up a savings account with $5 and became a member. Then I tired to apply for a credit card to help increase my overall CL and decrease my utilization but was denied - understanable since my score is a 587.

Then I decided to apply for a personal loan yesterday. I owe around $2500 in credit cards. I asked for a even $2K and the application ws pending. Low and behold, this morning I get an email stating I was approved for $2K at 36 months at 17.9%, so about $71 a month (while isnt a lot at all!)

I am just super happy that they approved me as this will help me reduce my debt as I am on my rebuilding journey. Best part, they were all SP!

Congrats this is awesome!!!

I am about 5k in debt, and was approved for the rewards card 5k CL so I am going to consolidate like you!

A year ago I was debt free and let me tell you, its an absolute amazing feeling!!!

Congrats.....and once you have a postive line with them that'll probably open the door to their credit card and probably at better interest rate than you would have gotten today.
