Call Credit Solutions. I was approved for $1400, asked for $25k and they bumped me to $5k. I got a card in the mail today for 500 bonus points after 3 purchases of any amount at gas stations, groceries or dining.

Says that's my "Temporary Line" anyone ended up getting the card with more?

I should be REALLY close to 50 now I believe... will have to check soon when dust settles on pending and recent approvals

I keep a few in the car depending on store and rather I need them if I just pop in without planning it otherwise they are at home in a plastic bin in stacks.

I asked for $10k

the up side it is my first ever MC from GE! now if it was only on the Sams card that it's actually WORTH IT ON!!! haha

Congrats CA, it'll grow. I started with a $500 TJX store card and in 3 mnonths had the Mastercard version with a $1,500 limit. Now 8 months later I'm at $5,000. Wish I had the luck of B335is. GE gave me a temp limit on my ebates Visa of $2,000 but when card arrived the permanent limit was $1,000. I called them and ended up geting the limit increased to $5,000. That's the only time I've ever been able to get any of my GE cards bumped up at activation.

first one ever not to be store card... but credit solutions NO BUDGE!

so odd that I get approved $500 Lowes and credit solutions moves me to $5k but other cards approved for more to begin with a what seem like higher tier cards and nothing!

i don't even say anyting in question anymore when credit solutions comes back on the phone... im like thanks...click..

and odd thing, my denial for jcpenney... no credit score... Denied "to many new accounts" THATS IT!? **bleep**?

Yea I think if credit solutions ever worked for me it would be 9 yrs from now after Bk falls off and I have a pristine report, and then they'd probably only come back and say ... Pizza we can increase your gap card to $500! How does that sound? Ill go postal for sure, lol!!! I have no doubt though you'll get that limit up

A little off topic, but which report did they pull? I was always under the impression that they exclusively pulled TU, but I applied for Aerie at the register the other night (mostly for the 25% off) was approved for store with $750 limit, but they pulled (and so far are only reporting on) Experian. Was I wrong all along about only pulling TU, or is this a new Synchrony thing?
