Comenity Loves Me!

Before I went back into the garden Oct 1, I pulled the trigger and posted about my Gamestop Approval.

Also got the shopping cart trick on the Overstock Store Card - initial $500, hit the CLI love button and got to $700.

After reading and finding out that Comenity usually does SP for CLI I pulled the trigger on my Buckle and VS cards (which I use regulary and PIF) and got $400 bump on each up to $650 and $750. This is after they auto CLI'd my HSN card last month for $1k to bring it up to $1350CL.

Helps overall utilization since I do carry a balance on some other cards.

The HSN I have had since last Dec. so it was about 10 months when they auto CLI'd it. The Buckle and VS I had since January. I do have a couple of their other cards as well but no love on them - I am guessing because I haven't actually used them yet. I got the TrueValue card about 2 months ago in prep for some home improvements we're starting this winter, no luv on that one but I imagine once I use it this month to buy some hardware for our projects I will get some.

The Overstock gave me instant luv - got the shopping cart pop-up, accepted, setup the online account (you can do this without having the card uses your basic info - name, ss, dob - to match you to your account), hit the luv button and they added another $200 from the get go.

How did you apply for your Gamestop card? Can you only apply in store?

You have to be a member of the PowerUP Rewards program through Gamestop first. They have free & paid versions, I was on the free. I applied directly through the Gamestop website for it. Will likely take a HP for it though doing it that way. I think they do the pre-approval pop-ups too, you might search the forum see if others have gotten it that way? You can also apply in the store - I went in to the local store a day or two later to get a power brick for the kids Wii and he asked if I wanted to apply then said nevermind he seen I already had the card. Couldn't use it in store at that time, but it becomes available online as soon as you are approved (mine did anyway).

I'll have to go in Gamestop today and get a Pro membership! Hoping I am lucky and get a preapproval lol just got Overstock.com
