Barclaycard Recon Success!

I called card services from my denial letter and explained my situation, only thing they denied me for was too many inquries, so they just asked my income, and a few other questions and she approved me for $1,500!!! My first real credit card with a real limit, I still can not believe it! All the help from you guys have made it possible, I'm on my way to getting prime cards and dropping these secured cards and getting my money back from them.

I got a 7-10 day message so I called the back door number yesterday and got a 1K credit line to start with. Checked my CR today and they are already reporting to EX. Wow. That's fast. The guy I spoke with was very nice and direct. I already like this company.

Congratulations on your new card! You are absolutely right - treat credit with respect and they will show you the rewards.

Congrats! I really love Barclay. They have been spot on every six months with auto CLI's for me. They are my highest CL, and I get the TU Fico every other month.

Thanks everyone!, and congrats to those who also had success reconning. They hit reports yesterday, they were extremely fast reporting to the bureau's. Sorry bring up old post, but wanted to respond, I work in the oilfields so my availability is sporadic at the moment lol
