Slate Recon Approved!!

Yesterday I was thinking how my Cap1 0% APR expired in July and got the itch for a Slate. Here we go.

I apped online. Got the 7-10 day review message. I called the automated line to check the status and an off shore rep answered and said I was declined. End of story. Nope.

I called the app recon line and they told me the same thing, due to recent inqs and lack of credit history with the bank.

I asked nicely if he would reconsider the decision and he placed me on hold and said he could create a Slate account using CL from my Freedom and Sapphire. Very easy call. I created $1100 if 0% APR for 15 months.

EX Fico hovering 725

Slate 1100 1 day
Freedom 1000 4yrs
Sapphire 5000 1 month

No more apps. Seriously. Mortgage in the future.
