First premier CLI?? Barclays CLI?

I have both of these cards nad Most likely can get a CLI on them both fairly easily but wondering if there is any way to get them wihtout a HP, Not sure if anyone even has a clue what a first premier card is, as I got it at 17-18 years old with a 250 CL, and simply pay the OUTRAGEOUS 7$ a month fee along with a 49$ yearly charge.. BUT it is my Oldest Account on file and am willing to pay that,(let me know if that isn't the right thing to do).

But first premier also states that if/when you get approved, whatever your CLI is you must pay 25% OF THAT CLI!!!! which is obvisouly again outrageous IMO. Help!

I don't think First Premier will ever do an auto CLI but Barclay's does regularly for some.

I got an auto CLI on my Barclay NFL on my 6th month. $2000 cli! If you request one, it'd hp.

you would be substantially better off closing first premier right now as it will stay on your reports for 10 years regardless of closure! if you can get barclay most likely cap one will approve you and charges much less fees!

I kicked First Premier to the curb once I started getting approved for better cards. They were my oldest CC account as well, but as others have said it should still report for at least 10 years. From my experience with them any customer initiated increase is a HP, if you get approved for a CLI you'll pay a 25% fee of the CLI.

To be fair it was a decent initial rebuilder card for me. But I couldnt get them out of my wallet fast enough!

HMM.. well I just got a CLI a few monts ago from cap One and i know for sure I am not up for another yet... but as far as the barclays I may bite the bullet and Request from them, and if approved drop First Premier. It is $350 CL but untill I get a boost from somewhere else I would like to keep my TCL( total credit limit??) at where it is at, Or more. If that makes sense.

Apply for cap one platinum, would I need to "upgrade" my current card into that, or simply get a secondary CAP one?

Well I bit the bullet and just called and canceled with First premier. Working on getting a few collections to PFD which I recieved info that one company will gladly delete once PIF! Hopefully it goes well, wish me luck!

I would take hit and pay first premier bank off. You are paying more money to them and they are not giving you anything. You should pay them off and close it. The account is in good standing so it will still report for 10 years as being in good standing and paid off.

Yes I took care of them today, canceled, paid what had to be paid and got rid of them! On to the next one. Going to wait for 30-45 days as I have gotten some of my collections PFD approved and paid as well! Excited but hate waiting, as I am sure everyone here has to do! But step in the right direction!

Congrats on closing FP! Barclays will give auto CLIs. Hopefully you get a nice boost with the removals!

Yes my barclays FAKO/FIco thing they have has me at a 650+ and no neg with them or anything and used fairly often and always PID curprised for no auto CLI.. UGHH want to steer clear of any INQ's while I am atempting to aquire this business!!!!
