Diners club now or wait

Planing to apply by mid nov will the approvals like is going on now still be by than ?
Or just apply now waiting a few cards to post my full payments I did so score Will jump on credit report

I have 8 card average age each card 3 years.total limit all cards together 10.000$.
And car lease last 3 years good status
Overall Credit age 5 years was au before
Cards payed off the balance to 20%
One 30 day late one 60 day late from 2 years ago
Fico EQ 695 3 inq
Tu 2 inq 695

if you are waiting for some lower balances to report, by all means wait til they do, then app immediately. I wouldnt wait any longer than you have to....who knows how generous they will be for how long. I got mine in the mail a few days ago. Was approved for $10k about 2 weeks ago with a lot of recent inqs. So, I would jump on it while you can.

The timing couldn't have been both better AND worse for me. If i app'd this past Monday my CR would post a slew of hefty balances, howbeit still less then half total cards, and since i'm micromanaging needed these limits to show on the report this month (my method) then PIF and/or roll a balance here and there as is my usual practice. DIDN'T MATTER Still got approved for DC anyway. Who can say with any certainty just how long it will continue like it is right now.

Wish someone would post profile too. Like AA of A and oldest account as well as baddies. If any. I'm ready but only see elite scores

My guess - just a guess, is that within 30-60 days BHO is going to start seeing some "defaults" on these massive credit lines they are approving left and right. If that happens you can bet they'll tighten their lending standards and lower starting credit lines. Will that happen in 2 weeks? probably not, but after the holidays when "some people" spend too much, well its possible (no one on this forum of course).

Bottom line, I would not wait too long to get in on the "membershp push" by BHO.

I applied today mostly for that reason. I hope to take advantage of their current generosity. I got the 7-15 day message, so it's a waiting game.

As a resident of tx I had to also include dh's info, but was told it was just informational and tax law. We apply for all of our cards separately.

i called an hour after applying with no luck on acct info. I hope they don't lowball me on cli or deny. I was ready to garden. Hope to get good news from them soon.

Some who applied are calling within hours after apping if not immediately LoL I apped on Monday and just dismissed it from my mind for 3 days. You wanna read the shocker? When i did call in and they found that an account was made (They Are SWAMPED) I was told it was approved 2 days ago. So while it might not be an instant approval as we know it, with some it just as well be.

I'm one of the people who called immediately. My TU FICO is 702, I think around 8 inquiries (6 from the last 6 months), 1% utilization, and a 3 year 10 month AAoA. I was approved 15 minutes after applying for 15k.

Congrats! So you called in 15 minutes after applying and found out? The rep I talked to wouldn't really give much or take my SSN to look up the account when I called - about an hour after applying.

Thanks! And yeah, I mean it might not have been exactly 15 minutes but definitely under an hour. The rep was very nice and took all my info and asked for my securiity code. She said an account had been set up, so that meant I was approved. She was about to hang up, but I got her to look up my credit limit for me. Good luck! I'm sure you got it.

Exactly the same here. In the excitement of all this it's important that you make a special note of your Security Answer to be ready to give them when you do call in for status check
