gotta love amex (and this board)

Thanks to all the great advice on this board, my Costco Amex cl went from 1,200 when I got the card in Feb to 15K today. How did that happen, you ask?

Late Apri,l did my 61 CLI request from 1200 to 3600 online..... Aproved instantly

Early Oct, got some Amex auto love from 3600 to 5k

Today was time for my 181 3x cli request and I was a little concerned because of the auto love earlier this month, but I figured I'd request the full 3x since the worst they can say is no. so I did and BAM!

Thanks again for all the good advice!

Oh, and for the record, I always PIF the statement balance, but there is always a balance reporting (sometimes higher than I'd like )

congrats on your huge credit limit increase! now feel free to gift me for christmas with that high credit limit card, all I want for christmas is a ginormous flat screen tv from costco

Nice raise.

Methinks you need to buy used car, large, then you can take home large screen tv (personally, most visitors think my 2010 lg 32 incher has better picture, not even led).

Congrats. It will be quite a while before I can get an Amex. With that limit, that would be the only card I would use
